Medical histories of various Union soldiers, 14 Nov.-16 Dec. 1861, admitted to the Fort Monroe hospital, including date, pulse, state of tongue, bowels, urine, sleep, appetite and pain, prescriptions, and remarks. Volume includes a supply inventory, 1 Jan. 1874, and accounts of supplies purchased, 1872-1876; these are apparently also related to Fort Monroe. The first page of the account book states, " Fort Monroe, Virginia, Daniel Johnson."
